The team here at Tennessee Tech started participating in Baja SAE events in 1977 when the event was known as Mini Baja. The team has excelled at the events with 12 first place finishes, one of the most successful teams. We take pride in being one of the most successful teams, but good competition cannot come without other teams being prepared. Knowing this, we come to the races prepared to help other teams that come to us with questions or with a need of tools or simple materials.  Over the years we have moved from the basement of Brown Hall to a shop location in the East Stadium, giving us 4,000 square feet to work in.
